Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with a minor in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University) and completed the Social Service Work and Early Childhood Education programs at Sheridan College
How I got here
My main passion is to support individuals on their journey to overcoming their challenges. I believe when individuals are provided with the proper resources and guidance from their community during times of uncertainty, they will have the proper tools to flourish and achieve their lifelong goals.
What I’m passionate about
Is a healing process, providing an inclusive space to talk through concerns, validate emotions, and implement skills when needed. I value continuing education and have Recent professional development certificates from PESI include Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD/trauma (veterans, first responders, sexual violence, eating disorders). As well as health anxiety using different modalities (CBT, ACT, ERP), inner confidence, shame and sexuality from SickKids.
My approach to therapy
Depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, isolation, loneliness, panic disorders, OCD, ADHD, and parent support, MVA’s, working in the geriatric community, specifically those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. I work with children & couples.
